Usui Reiki Level 1 ~ Shoden

Shoden is the Japanese name for The First Degree of Usui Reiki Ryoho which means “The Beginning Teaching”. This course is designed for those who are new to Reiki-Ho or want to brush up on their skills.

During Usui Reiki Shoden, the emphasis is on physically opening and activating energy pathways, allowing the practitioner to connect to the Universal Life Force that brings the learner into consciousness of the Reiki flow.

The focus during Usui Reiki Shoden is on opening and activating the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the Universal Life Force through four Reiju-Ho or Attunements which opens the student to awareness of the flow of Reiki.

The ‘inner’ focus of The First Degree is about learning to become ‘a clear channel’ for Reiki. When you take Reiki Shoden, your Reiki Path begins, a spiritual journey of self-discovery, self-awareness and self-healing.

Reiki I is about learning to ‘let go and let the energy flow’ – about learning to ‘step out of the way’ – learning to override the desire of one’s conscious mind to interfere in the therapeutic process, and instead, simply let the Reiki phenomenon ‘happen‘.

This enjoyable and transformative two days training offers a practical approach to the understanding and holistic benefits of the system of Reiki.

You will be initiated into Reiki Shoden by receiving 4 Reiki Reiju or Reiki Attunements.
